How do I get CEU’s?
The A+ certification requires 20 CEUs for renewal. The 20 CEU’s must be obtained during the three year period (prior to your expiration date). At least 50 percent of the activity content must relate to one or more of the A+ exam objectives.
You can earn A+ Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by obtaining an approved non-CompTIA Certification or by attending an approved training or educational activity (earning 1 CEU for each hour of training).
You must pay your Continuing Education (CE) fees before submitting your completed activities for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Fee due dates are based on your CE renewal cycle, not the calendar year
A+ $25./per year $75./3 year period
GOOD NEWS: THERE ARE SEVERAL RENEWAL ACTIVITIES THAT DO NOT REQUIRE CE FEES!
You do not need to pay CE fees if you choose one of these renewal options:
- Pass the latest release of the A+ CompTIA exam
- Earn a higher-level CompTIA certification
